How Does it Work?
Doors will open at 6:30pm. Storytellers will put their name in the hat. Find a comfy seat. Get some snacks. And it will begin promptly at 7pm.
We will review the guidelines for the event, rules for speakers, panel of judges, a little preview, and draw the first name from the box.
When your name is drawn, you will come up to the mic and wait for the signal to begin. Stories must be 5 minutes long, with some grace applied on both ends. But watch out for the buzzer if it gets out of hand!
We will keep drawing names up until 9:00pm when the event ends.
All storytellers will receive a prize from the judges table — and the judges will announce the Grand Prize Winner at the end of the event.
